What is Coaching?
Coaching is a supportive, dynamic, mutual venture based
on trust, respect and open expression.
- It leads to your empowerment
- It "unsticks" you
- It helps you commit to actions that will take you
where you want to be in life
- It motivates and energizes you as you become aware
of where you want to go and create a plan that takes
you there based on your values and purpose
- It helps you move beyond what you thought possible
in life.
During each coaching session, you set our agenda; I'm
there to support you as you think about:
- What you want to achieve in life
- How you are going to get there.
Coaching works partly because of accountability, and
because of it, talking with a coach is different than
talking with a friend. My role is to:
- Help you set goals for yourself
- Assist you in determining measures for your goals.
- Help monitor your progress towards each of them.
Coaching involves learning about yourself, and, as
in any learning venture, there is a predictable cycle
of learning curves and plateaus. Sometimes, you'll feel
"high" after our conversation; at other times,
you may wonder about the process. Both feelings are
integral to the learning process - learning about your
self and about your vision of your life. You are responsible
for creating that vision and for moving towards it.
Collaboration makes it happen.

What
Do I Consider Important in Coaching?
My coaching is based on a set of values.
- Honesty and integrity are fundamental to
a coaching relationship. For both of us, there is
a freedom in expression so that clear, open and sincere
communication exists.
- Open communication is possible through listening
and attending, and through giving and receiving feedback
that creates an open dialogue between us.
- Confidentiality is also fundamental to coaching.
Whatever is said in a coaching session remains there,
and only there.
- Collaboration is a key element in successful
coaching. We both work hard during a coaching session;
we both are oriented towards the same end: your progress
towards an agreed upon set of goals.

Who Am I as a Coach?
Choosing a coach is the most important first steps in
the coaching process. Feeling a comfortable resonance
with him or her is the foremost criteria. Another critical
qualification is his or her credibility as a coach.
Consider these questions as you read about me.
Might there be a good fit between us?
